ACM joined NNYM

2007-08-02 05:32

On July 11, ACM joined NNYM (National Network of Youth Ministries), one of the biggest networks of youth ministries in the U.S. whose vision is to reach every teenager to the gospel of Jesus Christ.

The decision to join the network came through when the leaders and members of ACM from various university campuses around the nation started developing stronger sense of responsibility to protect and minister to today’s teens that are in the midst of the growing secularism and popular culture. As more and more members showed their interest in the work of youth ministry through their participation in events such as the East Coast BattleCry in May, conferences were held to draw out a concrete plan to put into practice what God had placed in their hearts – the love and compassion for today’s youth.

NNYM is an alliance of over 75 organizations such as Campus Crusade for Christ, Youth With A Mission, World Vision, and Teen Mania that make up what is called “Cooperating Ministries,” a partnership of national ministries who have agreed to network their efforts to reach and disciple every teenager for Christ.

ACM is grateful to the Lord for the calling to reach out to the younger generation that must meet Christ right now, in the days of their youth. The members of ACM undertake to co-work with the youth ministries in delivering the great love and grace of Christ to all the teens in America and beyond.
